Love Doves, a mural celebrating the LQBTQ culture and Pride month, was a collaboration with Joe Lanzilotta. The project was commissioned by Instagram as part of their #kindcomments initiative. Cleveland was one of five global cities chosen by Instagram for the mural project. The others were London, Madrid, Los Angeles, and Nashville.

Temporary murals created during the beginning of the pandemic on Detroit and W. 25th in Ohio City (Cleveland).

“I HAVE MANY” is an interactive public artwork that draws on So Fun Studio’s feelings of being overwhelmed (or not) by having so many things going on at the same time—plants, emotions, ideas, projects, emails, and on and on. Sometimes it makes us feel better when we tell others about whatever it is we’re having trouble with (or not having trouble with) by posting it on a rooftop billboard. The specific word selections in this artwork were chosen from So Fun Studio’s own experiences and stories we’ve heard about some of our friend’s experiences.

Please Touch is a project by So Fun Studio, a collaboration with John Paul Costello. The series on installations are on display at the Akron Art Museum from March 2nd to July 16th, 2017. 

The show shakes off all of the traditional museum-goer behavior and asks visitors to use their sense of touch to experience the exhibition. 

Also participating in the exhibition: Jordan Elise and Christopher Lees of Horrible Adorables and Jay Croft.

Dancing Machine is a project by So Fun Studio, a collaboration with John Paul Costello. Dancing Machine is a teeter totter with attached characters that dance as you teet and tott! The piece was commissioned by Ohio City Inc. for the 2017 Ohio City Street Festival.

The art program is curated by Library Street Collective and privately funded by Cleveland Cavaliers Chairman Dan Gilbert and his wife Jennifer. It includes works made especially for the transformed venue, its teams and the Cleveland community.

YOUR SHOW

In YOUR SHOW, the gallery setting is transformed from a passive viewer experience to an immersive viewer-as-artist experiment where the public is invited to contribute original and collaborative works in real time. This group show breaks down artist/non-artist barriers as participants get to creatively improvise with a series of mediums and prompts. 

YOUR SHOW was a collaboration between Joe Lanzilotta, BUCKBUCK studio, and Free Period Press.
